Insomnium will join Nightwish at Release Athens 2023.
Release Athens 2023 welcomes Insomnium, on Wednesday June 7th, at Plateia Nerou. The melodic death metal veterans will join Nightwish for a special night.
More names to be announced soon.
The Finnish Insomnium started their career in 2002 with the release of “In The Halls of Awakening” and within the next ten years they would be recognized as one of the most reliable bands of melodic death metal, which has managed to acquire cult following who eagerly await every new step they take. “One For Sorrow” (2011), “Shadows of the Dying Sun” (2014) and the masterpiece “Winter’s Gate” (2016), have led Insomnium to major tours, something that will continue this year, promoting another excellent album, “Anno 1696”, released just a few weeks ago and already receiving rave reviews.
On Wednesday, June 7th, Insomnium will support Nightwish in a special, melodic metal night at Plateia Nerou.
