Release Athens 2022 / Day 1: Timetable

After 35 months of silence, the time has finally come for Plateia Nerou to open its doors again. We begin in an emphatic way, as three bands that have defined music over the last four decades, each in their own unique way,will take to the Release Athens stage.

Bauhaus, one of the most important bands of the goth/dark wave scene, are coming to Athens with their original line-up (Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J. and Kevin Haskins) in a highly anticipated concert for the entire music-loving audience of the city, since their one and only appearance in Greece happened 40 years ago. Together with them, the special duo of the Reid brothers, The Jesus And Mary Chain, who are still a source of inspiration for dozens of new bands and of course, the Belgian dEUS who have written their own history with every gig they had in the city. The day begins with the excellent Strawberry Pills and Youth Valley.
