Formed in London in 2008 by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, Mount Kimbie have spent the last fifteen years crafting a vast catalogue of the most seminal and influential music to emerge from the capital’s vibrant music scene.
From their debut “Crooks & Lovers” (2010), which topped over 30 Best Albums of the Decade lists (including Pitchfork, Mixmag, Resident Advisor and NME), to the release of “The Sunset Violent” a few weeks ago, the band continued to evolve from one of the leading acts in British electronic music to one of the most innovative bands in modern indie.
With long term collaborators, Andrea Balency-Béarn and Marc Pell, now full-time members of the group, Mount Kimbie come to Plateia Nerou to present their adventurous music and, together with Massive Attack and Beak>, give us one the most intriguing nights of the summer.
