Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major formed London Grammar in Nottingham in 2009 and in their first decade of existence they have had two consecutive #1 albums in the UK charts (“Truth Is A Beautiful Thing” and “Californian Soil”), sold over 3 million copies worldwide and been nominated for every major music industry award in the UK.
The recent release of their fourth album, “The Greatest Love”, marks a new era of creative freedom and confidence for the group. London Grammar are now producing their own music, trusting in their own artistic judgement, and the result has vindicated them as “The Greatest Love” has been hailed by critics as the finest and most diverse moment in their career.
At the same time, their popularity has skyrocketed over the past three years, as evidenced by their two sold-out shows at Alexandra Palace (where they sold 35,000 tickets in one day!), their presence on Coldplay’s 2022 tour, where they played to over 700,000 music lovers, and their sold-out show at the O2 Arena a few weeks ago.
On Friday July 11th, we will have the opportunity to celebrate their return to Plateia Nerou and enjoy Hannah Reid’s captivating voice live on beloved songs such as “Wasted My Young Years”, “Strong”, “Hey Now”, “Californian Soil”, “Non Believer”, “Nightcall”, “Big Picture”, “Oh Woman Oh Man”, “House”, “You & I”, “Kind Of Man”, “Lose Your Head” and many more.
