The Docufilm of Release Athens 2022
Just days before the start of Release Athens 2023, we look back on everything that transpired during the 12 days of last year’s edition of the festival, an unparalleled experience that will be etched in our memories. Not only for the wonderful performances by dozens of artists, but also because it marked the return to Plateia Nerou after 35 months of silence due to the pandemic.
In the video we prepared, the stars of the festival -the artists and the audience-share their feelings about being reunited, the standout performances that left an indelible mark, and about what Release Athens Festival means to all of you. At the same time, the festival’s organizers shed a light on the intricacies of such a large-scale production, the milestones we have attained thus far and, of course, our ambitious plans for the future.
Release Athens 2023 is set to kick off on Wednesday, June 7th, even bigger and hopefully even better and more exciting.
