On Saturday July 2nd, two of the biggest rock stars of the last decades will take to the stage of Plateia Nerou, in a rare co-headline events in the circuit of summer festivals.
The unsurpassed Iggy Pop, beyond everything he contributed to rock ‘n’ roll history that earned him the title, “The Godfather of Punk,” taught all future generations what it means to be a rock performer. His indescribably intense live shows, his free-falls into the audience and his boundless energy became a benchmark for every budding star, a fact that will never cease to be true. Co-Headliner Liam Gallagher, in the best period of his post-Oasis career, who has managed this year to not only sweep the nation with the release of his third solo album “C’Mon You Know”, but also to fill every possible and unlikely arena in stadiums, parks and festivals.
Alongside them, we have, perhaps,Britain’s most unique duo at the moment and Iggy’s favourite group, Sleaford Mods and The K’s, the next big thing in the UK’s music industry. The day starts off perfectly with a home grown duo who have made their own history on the local scene, The Noise Figures.
